Los Osos Middle School, in Los Osos California has a variety of after school programs such as coding club, homework club, builders club, etc. But many LOMS students believe that there should be more interesting activities to do after school.
We may not know what the students want but we can only imagine that the people would want more book clubs or comic book clubs. "There should be an after school surfing program!" exclaimed one student. "The school won't be able to fund any of these programs, they are too poor." Another student said when interviewed. Several students would like to see more extracurricular programs, but have extremely far fetched ideas for what activities students should participate in.
Most interviewed students don't know how the school would be able to fund these programs or to get the school to want to make these programs happen, but they can only dream.

It's a slow day, you're bored so you pull out your phone. You've already browsed every social media site and game on your phone except one. It's a game called Tetris, you play. All it is is different shaped blocks falling down the screen, but it is so addicting. Now what if you heard that there was a movie in production based on this game?
You may be thinking, "How can there be a Tetris movie?" The idea may seem far fetched but Larry Kasanoff of Threshold Entertainment(the same company that adapted Mortal Kombat into a film series), the creators of the movie assure us that there will be "an epic sci-fi story" behind the simple game, and that "There is much more to Tetris than just simply clearing lines."
While there have been movies related to Tetris such as: Ecstasy of Order: The Tetris Masters, and Tetris: From Russia With Love, we can imagine that it will be an incredible thriller, but we just have to wait. For now we can occupy our waiting time by playing Tetris. I sure hope the movie will be a....blockbuster.
